I’m a personal trainer and qualified counsellor with over 20 years’ experience in health, movement and wellbeing.
I mainly work with adults in mid-life and beyond who want to become stronger, move more easily and feel more confident in their bodies, but aren’t always comfortable in typical gym environments or are worried about injury. Many people come to me after periods of inactivity, injury, illness, or life changes and want steady guidance on how to start again safely.
My sessions are calm, structured and tailored to you. Rather than simply pushing you through workouts, I focus on helping you understand your body, build strength gradually and develop habits you can realistically maintain long-term.
Alongside training, I’m also a qualified counsellor. This helps me understand the psychological side of change, motivation, confidence, consistency and the pressures of everyday life. Sessions are adapted around you rather than a rigid programme.
I have a long-standing personal practice in yoga, bodywork and martial arts, which informs my emphasis on posture, movement quality and joint safety. My aim isn’t just to help you exercise, but to help you feel capable, steady and confident in your everyday life.
